Interesting technology, lots of different jobs in different areas. You can do something totally different every few years.

Cons

Stealth layoffs and refusal to talk about it.

Pros

Easy going, casual leaves. Work from home, very good people.

Cons

No active HR management, probably you won't even see them even after working for years. No technology advancement, still using degraded in-house mail client. IBM Dublin is based in outskirts of Dublin, will take hours to reach office and more than that while going back home. IBM takes away it's pension contribution if employees leave in two years, hence you stay in the company and keep working on crap things if you don't want to loose Euros. No free snacks, no free coffee, cafeteria is costlier than spar and there is nothing outside campus.
