Let you work remote trust you to get your work done, no micromanaging great coworkers interesting work

Cons

ridiculous policies for performance reviews(pbcs). Perfectly good people get low reviews and great people get passed over for top ratings because they follow an algorithm instead of honestly rating work Top execs do not value their employees very little training/investment in employees changed the 401K match to yearly matching so they can freely lay off people and save $$ Do not allow much transfer between departments

Huge company with some exceptional people, but gets in it's own way. Poor people management excellent financial mgt.

Deep pockets and technology to properly fund and support interesting projects, great wealth of talented people to draw from, many whom go on to start other companies. Good social and technical interaction between employees all over the world = excellent teaming. Acquisitions have been very well chosen.

Cons

Inconsistent management, too much politics and no long term measurement of management decisions. Acquisitions not well integrated quickly enough, focus on process may unnecessarily scare away good talent - since most of it is trivial.
