Pros

Has a good working environment, a brand name, There are a lot of learning and growth opportunities within IBM, The management is overall good and appreciates what you do. The projects and assignments are mostly challenging and leaves a lot of scope to learn new things. A lot of group activities keeps on going and we can participate in it with our family. The organization also takes part in lot of sports activities and encourages employees to be part of it. The work-life balance is too good. Work from home and unlimited Sick leaves / Casual leaves makes this a good place to work.

Cons

The downside to working in IBM India is salary. The only reason someone would think of leaving the company is the compensation he/she gets. When comparing with other companies the pay at IBM India is of low standard and surely does not even come near industry standards. The job movement and role changes is given much emphasis but everything seems to be on paper. Most of the time, promises given during interview are not fulfilled and people gets frustrated. Reimbursement of expenses done for office work is very painful. There are a lot of process (which are useless) to be followed to even do a small work.
