      Monolith in the middle of the market

      Pros

      Market leader. Innovative. There are internal opportunities to move internally. Range of client exposure is good. Pay is better than others on agency side.

      Cons

      Promotes heavily from within. There is an exclusive in club at the director/VP level, if you aren't in it don't expect to progress. In club is laddish and is very far from everyone's taste. A sense of inequality of opportunity pervades.

      1. Flexible Working hour. 2. Salary is ok. 3. Working on healthcare domain. 4. Nothing to say more regarding positiveness of the company.

      1. They can fire you at any time in a single day with out any notice. 2. Senior people are arrogant in nature.

      Pros

      It's very hard to name a pro. I did enjoy working with a few people here, but the good are leaving in droves, and the company is struggling to keep qualified technical staff. There was a work from home option, was is fantastic if you want to avoid seeing the craziness.

      Cons

      Technology is not a strength of IMS, or Quintiles. Now having two poorly managed technical teams, does not cancel each other out. It compounds the problem. This place has more red tape than the government to get anything done. The only people who succeed in getting any progress made are those that are master manipulators. You don't know who you can trust, and it feels like everyone is lurking with intent to sabotage any progress being made. Too much trust is put into persons who provide little to no value, only because they are crazy good at self promotion. The company moves like molasses to even get started on any project. There are pockets of really good people that are highly under utilized. The process that was forced on everyone only stifles innovation.
