There are so many cons that I won't be able to list each one of it. (Applicable only for Indian applicants)
1. Upper management (especially the Manager and the HR Business partners) is not at all helpful.
2. The company will hire from top tier colleges, and will make them do clerical tasks (they will give this task a very fancy name). Work quality is pathetic.
3. Re-iterating the above point, you won't be able to gain the skills that are required by other companies in the job market. There is no personal and professional development.
4. Your job description will be drastically different from what you will be working on in the company, and if you will raise this concer with the upper management they would not address this situation.
5. No transparency within the company, as stated above they will lie about your job profile. To make matter worse, bonuses are very rare in this company (being one of the most successful pharma company), I haven't received any, not even a prorated bonus. So don't expect an appraisal or promotion from the company. Even if it does happen, it will be a very small jump from your current compensation.
Finally I would like to say to all those who are applying to this company, please don't apply or even if you want to, please clarify all of the above points and then decide. I would still feel it is better to search for another company rather than wasting your precious years over this company.
