Pros

Good benefits including reimbursement for gym memberships/health equipment and adoptions. Great management who genuinely care, listen, want your feedback and do not micro-manage. Opportunity to work from home a portion of the time. Excellent review process. Opportunities for professional growth and development that are encouraged by managment. Good internal system for recognizing a job well done. Management empowers employees to work independently and take responsibility for their deliverables. Depending on your manager, work hours and time off can be quite flexible.

Cons

Lack of clear processes in some areas. Some IT systems are redundant and not efficient, adding to the workload. Lack of classroom training opportunities specific to role. Time off is much less than some companies, making it difficult to have a good work/life balance. Workload is overwhelming at times. Feel that pay is at lower end of industry standard.

Pros

Leader in the industry, the number of clients/projects that you are able to work with, and the people are all great reasons to work here. There's plenty to learn and like the title says, it's a great place to build that foundation of knowledge for Clinical Research

Cons

The vastness of Quintiles is also it's limiting factor. SOPs are important for Clinical Research, but SOPs being heavily enforced for the GnA aspects of the company are ridiculous. Bureaucracy and red tape rear their ugly heads every now and then, leading to questionable promotions (based on time with co vs. merit), hasty decisions to terminate divisions or consolidate.

Pros

Lots of challenges and opportunities to learn provided you are there to put in the effort. Knowledge sharing is ok. Ability to work from home on as needed basis only. Overall decent environment for employees.

Cons

While some software is current, others are outmoded /outdated. sometimes work life balance works, sometimes not. company has grown too fast and had layoffs in the past as a result.
