Pros
Quintiles is the largest and most established CRO in the industry. It is a great place to start a career in clinical research as I did as an intern in college and then to continue on with the company. The pay at Quintiles seems to be very competitive for recent college graduates of any area of expertise, as I know several people that graduated from my college in the same major who are making only about 75% of what I am making in salary and they don't have near the benefits I have either. Plus there are yearly bonuses based on performance. Benefits are very good with a generous health plan, and many perks! Q will even pay gym memberships and reimburse you for a personal computer. There is also a very generous 401K plan. Paid time off is good for new employees, 2 weeks PTO and 10 paid company Holidays, the PTO can raise to 5 weeks or more according to years of service, so it pays to stick with the company.
Cons
There can be some long work hours to meet your specific project needs, but that can be with any company. There is sometimes a struggle in responsibilities between departments working together, but most of the time we pull through as a team.
