Pros

Unlimited PTO Snacks and lunches provided Flexible working hours and ability to work from home Good working culture/co-workers Good insurance coverage Work we do impacts whole company, not just local or regional teams

Cons

Hours, while flexible, can be long due to teams in different time zones Company is now in super growth mode, which can mean ambiguity and figuring out new processes from scratch very quickly

Pros

Unlimited PTO Catered breakfasts, lunches and happy hour Fully stocked refrigerator Healthcare

Cons

Very little career progression- their is nowhere to move unless you’re in the Sales, Marketing, HR or Client Success function. I was working in Sales and found it demotivating to know that I would never progress further in my career based on my discretionary efforts, in working my accounts. The focus was always on hitting your targets and management never cared how you went about it, just that you did it. Zero support from senior management including the HR function. US centric company. Management are YES men.

Hi there. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review about your time working at Indeed in Sydney. You’ve highlighted some really great positives about working for us and it’s disappointing to hear your negative experiences. Our senior management team and especially HR are there to support and guide our employees journey’s at Indeed to make sure they are engaged and happy. It sounds like this is something we did not get right with you and we would love to find out more so please email inside@indeed.com to give us more insight. You’ll be pleased to know our Sydney office will be growing more in 2019 which will mean there will be more open roles available to move into. We recognise it is a relatively small office and up until this point there have not been as many roles for our employees to apply to as we would have liked. However many of our employees have moved into new roles in completely different departments and office locations, so it’s disappointing to hear you could not find something suitable.
