Pros

- Great entry level sales training - The potential to make a great salary for work that is not complex - Free Snacks, Drinks, Lunches - Rapid progression from Account Executive, to Senior Account Executive if you hit your numbers - Company likes to promote from within and gives employees the ability to move around - Indeed is a great product that works well for Advertisers - Product is relatively simple to sell - Management is patient with reps who may not be performing well and offer assistance

Cons

- Management is obsessed with metrics TO A FAULT. The reps are required to hit 60 dials and/or 150 minutes of talk time. This seems achievable however there a many obstacles that make this very difficult i.e customers emailing with account questions, conversations with client services, internal meetings, team meetings, account research for meaningful conversations, documenting in the CRM everything you have done, etc. What is the result? Most reps fill their numbers by making fake dials, sending generic emails, calling phone numbers that they know will never be answered. Further this results in a sales process that is more laborious, transactional, and ineffective. Reps who have to endure through this soon get burned out, or are really good at gaming the system. Open PTO as mentioned in my "Pro's" is not really OPEN PTO. It is just a marketing gimmick used to attract candidates. Any PTO you would like to take off needs to get approved. If you are not pacing to hit your quota you will not get approved because you are behind, not doing well, etc. If you are performing well, pacing to hit quota you can still get denied PTO for various obtuse reasons. It is not really "Unlimited PTO".

Pros

Lots of autonomy to make things happen and experiment on a large scale. Benefits and perks are phenomenal and you're encouraged to actually use them. Senior leadership is sharp and sensible. Focus on data makes for less politics. I'm sure some of these things vary by department.

Cons

Golden handcuffs - it's very nice. General tech risk of some people avoiding problems or tasks where impact isn't easily measurable, but there's no way of really telling how big a deal that is.

Pros

Food court is amazing Great perks and work life balance Most of your co-workers are friendly and genuinely try to help you grow

Cons

Indeed is growing very fast and not hiring enough external talent for managerial roles. As a consequence of this, some departments are promoting internally and fast tracking employees that are ill prepared to manage. Salaries are low for the industry and raises in many cases are only tied to performance reviews. At least in my department performance reviews depend very much on office politics.
