Pros

Many organizations talk about QOL and being a flat organization. Indeed truly lives those ideals. I was always treated as an adult not a cog in machine. I was given what I needed to accomplish my work and was never micromanaged. This was sometimes challenging as I was in a satellite office and not the HQ, but it was still a great perk. Talking of Perks, the SF office is competitive with the best our city has to offer--- and the Austin office outshines many of the places I have been in SF. The quality of everyone I worked with, from the top down was beyond compare. There are some very smart people in all the offices I visited. Finally, the commitment to Data Driven work, in all work areas is unparalleled with any other place I have been, including Wall Street Fortune 500s

Cons

Growing pains, growing pains, growing pains. Trying something over and over because it worked before--- and not realizing things have changed.

Pros

The people you will meet are great! Oppertunity for growth within the company. Perks such as free snacks and Dale Carnagy training. Good management as well.

Cons

Open concept can be distracting at times. Recruiter is unprofessional. He discloses confidential information regarding salaries and HR situations which creates a negative and distrusting office environment at times.

Pros

The collaborative and supportive atmosphere of working in a team is, to me, invaluable. I have leadership who cares about my progress and career development. This is a company that works to balance fun, effectiveness, and progress, and on top of it we are provided breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily, with unlimited access to a juice/smoothy/barista bar and gym, etc.

Cons

Constant growth means logistic problems. We have a beautiful new facility here in Austin, but parking has been a bit of an issue. This is something that our team is constantly working to address.

Thanks for sharing your experience on the Search Quality team in Austin! As you mentioned, we're a high growth company and that leads to some (usually temporary) growing pains like parking. We are striving to stay on top of our real estate and logistical challenges and are glad you're here.
