Pros

Typical offshore IT consultancy. Good projects if you nag your manager relentlessly. Clients are good. Good on-project experience, but very little support unless you get lucky with a great manager.

Cons

Poor employee care. The internal resources and applications are abhorrent and you will get slammed with escalation emails at every waking moment. HR is HR, promising to help, but really just trying to keep you from quitting. Any new employee initiative is mostly about checking corporate boxes and doesn't lend to any substantive change in an employee's life. Poor pay coupled with high expectations for outside of working hours training creates low incentives for growth. They will move you to a hub, will put you on a project stream with little projects in the hub region, then pressure you to move again without upfront relocation assistance. All in all, if you're looking for an opportunity to get into a large technology firm with little technology experience and you literally have zero other options, then Infosys is tolerable.
