I have had the opportunity to make an analysis comparing the most important Indian IT companies. The numbers and publications show that Infosys is primarily driven by short term profit. How this reflects in the workplace? Costs are cut everywhere, no raises, employees pay their parking space, scarcity in soap and paper, no possibility to move to other projects, no promotions, no company related parties, no paid certifications, etc. Of course this translates to high levels of dissatisfaction and attrition.
