Pros

Challenging projects can be found if you are lucky but everything else after that is listed under cons.

Cons

1. You will never understand the culture of this company. Initial project you will be assigned to will be in line with your role. But after the inital project is done, you are in for a real treat. You will be tried under several unfitting roles without any regard to your skillset. No one will be there to hear you. You do as they say. Fullstop. 2. As a consultant you are expected to travel which is the norm. However, this company takes an extra step. They ask you and pressure you to relocate. No concern given to any personal issues. All they bother is about cost savings. 3. If you leave the office by 5:30 (normal office hours) even if you do not have any work, you are frowned upon, Most people just stay until 7-8pm doing nothing. And those are seen by the management as "dedicated". 4. There is absolutely no contingency in any plan these guys prepare. Whatever client asks the answer will be Yes, and then when the time comes, they will ask you to work on weekends and late nights, whereas it was visible from the outset. Employees are outrightly stopped taking annual leave they are entitled to in many occasions. 5. There are several managers (based out of European countries) who listen to employee needs, but overall most managers never care about the employee satisfaction. The appraisal process is like a fish market and only the resources who has good political connections will get a favourable outcome. 6. Without trying to sound racist, the offshore employees who come into onsite client locations are in their own world. If you do not know their language you will be isolated and not cared upon. Even in meetings they switch to Hindi and don't care about any other country employee presence. It's really a believe it or not moment. 7. They are currently laying off many people on the bench (without a project)! Supposedly around 30%. Verdict: Consider very seriously before joining this company as your life will be messed up after this.

Pros

- Honestly, I can't think of any.

Cons

After working 20 years for various IT organizations within North America, this is the worst company that I have worked for. Infosys will never succeed in the NA market if they continue to bring in their Indian work policies and attitude towards local hires. As mentioned by previous reviews, your salary and role can change based on the project you are working on. You can go from 120K year to 100K or less in the span of a week. The policies are absolutely horrendous and ridiculous and don't make much sense. To get anything done, takes days of approvals and emails which take up an unprecedented amount of time. Unless you are desperate for work, STAY AWAY!! This Company is anything like any other NA organization that you have possibly worked for in the past.
