      Pros

      great training programme, wonderful development centres, great friends and good teamwork among peers, facilities provided on campus in Mysore are better than many other similar companies

      Cons

      pay structure is poorly defined, vacation package is very poorly set (not enough annual leaves), scope for a promotion at a lower level is very limited.

      Pros

      ONe of the largest IT companies in the world, highly respected organization. There is a ton of knnowledge and experience to learn from. The broad range of locations and domain participation provides a very wide range of opportunities to work.

      Cons

      They are extremely picky about money. I have to do a lot of tasks that even my former small privately-owned company provided for me. Travel / on-site assignments are a very big pain in the neck, as they do not provide any arrangements. (smaller former company provided everything: reservations, travel, tickets upfront and I only worry about the per-diem) In infosys I have to procure for my own accomodation, transportation and do all the bookings on my own for a very restricted reimbursement 30 days later). oh, and US-Payroll department is not in the US but in India.!

      Big campus. No... LAVISH BIG CAMPUS.. GOOD People,, no discrimination(the best part). Friendly people and everyone over here is proud to be known by 1 single name- INFOSCION.... Best is if you join here as a Fresher, a Lifetime Experience guaranteed.

      Cons

      managing such a huge number of people is a big challenge, the satisfaction % is always <= Dissatisfaction %.. So mix of good and bad experiences. No Cons as such, but ya it depends on your manager that the kind of work you have been assigned.
