Pros
1) If you are a fresher and have no idea what to do in life, this is the place to be. Good training, campus like atmosphere (or school campus like!), good choice of food courts etc.
Cons
1) Career? Forget abt it. Infosys ensures that you are never marketable for the immediete 2 years after joining.(you end up working on a technology/product for a max of 3 months) 2) Salary. As everone knows this is among the lowest. What people dont know is that the low pay is also cocuples with pathetic/confusing/opaque variable pay structure. Even individual performance is linked to company performance (you will not get 100% of individual performance incentive even if you are rated as the best (CRR1). The funny part is that there is another variable component called company performance incentive. 3) HR policies - This reminds me of old school. Employees are treated like school children. If employees dont clock 9.25 hrs, their leaves/salary is deducted. however, the client is still billed for 9.25 hrs.
