Pros

Pay structure good according to standards. Work done on all technologies. Good for your CV. Good job security. Good for starting a carrier, as the freshers training given is really praiseworthy.

Cons

If you are lucky enough you might work for a great project with excellent feedback and wonderful onsite opportunities. But more often you'll be a victim of politics. Often we see that rotation for onsite opportunities is not followed. Whoever makes it abroad, stays abroad. The appraisal system is a total joke. Keep your manager happy for a good rating. Getting a good rating just by proving yourself, being good at work is not enough. Can kill your work /life balance. You are very much expected to be available during weekends. And people might think that you are just a phone call away. Recently they are making quite a mess with the job bands "better known as C-Life (article came out in Times of India)". So most of the employees are disgusted with that. Your younger colleague just might get paid more than you do.. :)

Pros

Good Infrastructure.Good training for Freshers, if you are from non IT background and want to make a career out of IT. But after staying for a year or so, it becomes very frustrating as their policies start to haunt and torture you.

Cons

I personally had very bad experience as my manager tortured me at Infosys. But since it is a big company, joining a fresh project is like working in an altogether new company. So the work environment depends on the project. If you join there, Be very selective and ask project team members ,and enquire thoroughly, before joining any project. If they force you to join, then leave Infosys.

Pros

- Great people onsite. Very team oriented mentality to share knowledge - Personal Time is respected here. Usually very easy to request time off or work from home - Stable job, does not get affected by market as much as others - Good company wide education scheme in theory - Very willing to relocate you depending on your skillset and openings

Cons

- Slow in promotions and known to be low on the pay scale - Poor US based benefits package that compares with competitors - Poor HR response and globalized ideology doesn't apply well to everything - Direct Manager unable to influence your promotions/salaries
