Pros

I like the type of work that I do such as build and configure desktops, laptops, rack mount servers, routers, switches, network racks, and printers. I also am a trainer and and a quality auditor.

Cons

The hours terribly fluctuate between 25-40 hrs per week. On average I work 30 hrs per week. This is not enough to pay the bills. Management makes absolutely horrible decisions which leads to this debacle. Management is NOT open to new Ideas. We are unable to keep any new hires. I have trained several technicians only to see them upset and resign a few months later due to the problems at Ingram Micro's Configuration department.
