Pros

Ingram is a recognized name in their industry which can open some doors for new opportunities for yourself and customers. Office is in a good location with a cafeteria on site.

Cons

If you're making less than $100K you're likely being paid considerably less than your colleagues. Huge pay gaps here. The culture I find to be poor. Very self serving people, arrogant attitudes. Working here reminded me of what a bad company culture is. There are some good people who work here but the deck is stacked against "the nice guys." If you find yourself in the IML group, good luck. Your top 3 executives do not have industry experience. That will haunt the company in the future.

The people are great

Pros

Most associates have a very high work ethic and are very supportive of one another. People stay at the company for a long time so you have a chance to develop strong relationships. A lot of freedom to make your own decisions and be innovative.

Cons

Compensation is below market and opportunities to advance in the sales organization are very limited. Recent cost cutting measures have drastically reduced support organizations. Upper management, once very approachable, now seems out of touch with the frontline associates. Systems and processes are very manual and outdated.
