Pros

Great colleagues. It was great to work with such smart people in the EU Cloud Team

Cons

Global leadership underestimated the complexity of the European market.

Pros

Friendly people, not terribly difficult

Cons

Moving up is a waiting game. It is not based on performance. If you leave for a year and come back, you can move up 6 rungs, rather than none. It feels like high school all over again.

Pros

The benefits are comprehensive and there are a lot of options. The pay is reasonable and raises are consistent. Some departments have the option to work remotely. The work/life balance for most departments is really good. The PTO plan is fair as well.

Cons

The company is directionless. Communication is nonexistent. You can pretty much count on layoffs every 4-6 months. The first 2 quarters of the year we are told how awesome we are doing, the 3rd quarter we are told it’s “so-so” but we can make it, Q4 rolls around and the story is that we are loosing money hand-over-first and there will be no bonuses and more layoffs. Nonexistent mobility or advancement.
