      Pros

      Intact Insurance tends to be a good place to work, if you're the kind of person who wants to go to work, and leave the work at the office

      Cons

      Not a great place in Toronto if you're looking for promotion, as those tend to go to others

      Pros

      For someone in IT, Intact is a good employer where you can learn different technologies. They are very much up to date in terms of technologies.

      Cons

      Communication is rather poor at Intact. It is difficult to know when something changes that has an impact on your job.

      decent benefits good geographical location somewhat up to date technology good training offered. decent office space break on car and home insurance

      Cons

      little to no understanding of the big picture and what the long term goals of the company and direction. lack of strong management inability to relay what the goals of are the company. in order to move up in chain of seniority and unbelievable amount of time needs to be put in and in the end you may just get go due to one of the many reorgs that happen in the period of a year. Not being able to speak French limits your ability for advancement.
