Pros

Great benefits, great work/life balance, great friendly environment. Management is very friendly. There are lots of perks when you work here, and it really makes you feel good at the end of the day knowing that you are helping people - the employees here are genuinely interested in helping people - not just cashing a paycheque like drones. Definitely not a faceless corporation!

Cons

Pay is low. Starting out with a university degree, being a computer money and getting paid low. Expected to have a lot of knowledge yet not paid accordingly. Career opportunities are slow to develop (unless you know someone).

Pros

- Stable company, does very well financially. - Nice people. - Lots of volunteer work.

Cons

-Opportunities for career growth can be challenging, empty promises and you end up chasing your tail. -Workloads are out of control in every department. You have 10% of the staff doing 90% of the work and the rest are either on smoke breaks or surfing the net while the ones that actually do stress and care about their jobs end up doing all the work. -Pay is a joke. You have the workload of 3 ppl and yet there are new hires that come in with more pay then the experienced ones. -Lots of annoying people! Where do they find them? I question the hiring process too. -Way too much favortism. _Finally the trainees/graduate program they have is a great way to promote ppl in the insurance industry however, they are promised to become sr. u/w's or even managers at the end of the 3 yr program which is a complete joke. Way too much emphasis is put on them and for some reason hold them in high regards when they can't even do the job.

Pros

The benefits are good Flextime and hours are great, easy to get time off Appears to be room to grow Good amount of freedom in terms of when to take breaks - no micromanaging good amount of vacation - easy to have a work/life balance

Cons

No clear job descriptions, and no training system at all. There is no consistency in terms on how things are done, procedures and processes are vastly different from one person to the next. Pay is on the lower end. Systems are in need of much improvement.
