Pros

Opportunity to expose to different aspect of semiconductor manufacturing. Have the privilege to work with a few brilliant colleagues across different teams.

Cons

Company wide bad management tricks down to 1st and 2nd level manager's empty promises. 5N4Y strategy likely not going to work because even though you work hard and delivery above and beyond, you hard work can be effectively negatively cancelled by next manufacturing steps which could be owned by other people. Everything has to work flawlessly for semiconductor manufacturing to succeed, and this is what makes TSMC and other non-IDM companies better. Here at Intel many people I knew literally become MUCH LESS MOTIVATED after years of downhill and increasing working load that quality has been compromised due to management's keep pushing more output and not giving appropriate resource and timeline. Many of people I know were either left or have been actively seeking applying outside so they can avoid being laid off later, if you see this why would you bother to apply here?

Pros

My experience has always been good work/life balance, friendly coworkers, decent pay (even considering the market setback in 2023)

Cons

I've been told this company is very dependent on the team and role you work. My team is very laid back and helpful, my work is very interesting to me and the environment is low-stress. Make sure to contact people in your team if you can beforehand, however. Some teams will tell very different stories regarding stress and work.
