      Stable company compared to its competitors but still needs to be more efficient in a lot of areas.

      Pros

      Company offers some great benefits as far as medical, vacation, holiday and sick time. There's some work life balance flexibility.

      Cons

      There's a lot of red tape to make changes. Need to be more efficient in utilizing experience. When a process change but the equipement does not they will retrain the individual. Training seem to be no different for a person with experience and a new hire.

      Big company with brand power. Bonus and benefits Financial health Market dominance

      Cons

      1) Bureaucracy : too many layers of managers. It looks like promotion to manager is abused to lower high voluntary attrition rate and as a result, there are many many managers who manage a tiny # of people 2) Abrasive culture : People tend to be mean to each other for the sake of being perceived as aggressive 3) Jungle-like rules of game : Few people care about new hire or junior engineer. Very competitive environment

      Intel Malaysia is a great stage for talkers, and a better-than-average place for contributors.

      Pros

      Great pay and benefit vs similar companies in Malaysia, flexible working hours (sometimes), and better-than-average working environment. Work place is filled with young and energetic people. Opportunity to get yourself involved in cutting edge technology in PC industry. Cross site interaction makes daily work life more interesting.

      Cons

      Lower-than-average management, both managements and engineers are junior, need to work with some not so professional managers.
