      Meetings and emails are main themes of the business hours.

      Pros

      Well known company. State of Art technologies. Great in-house trainings for employees.

      Cons

      Too many meetings, too many emails, meetings during evening hours and weekends. The dispersed workforce across different continents squeezes meetings to family hours and makes work/life balance a challenge. The annual performance review system causes headaches for both management and individual contributors.

      Life is good for a loyal Intel employee, assuming you have a life outside Intel

      Pros

      The pay is good, the work is challenging, and AMD sucks.

      Cons

      You feel like a tiny cog in a giant machine. The Santa Clara campus has a dozen buildings connected by sky bridge. Each building has a sea of tiny battleship gray cubicles laid out on a grid. Locations are denoted by building number, floor number, and pole number. The pole notation makes the office seem like an enormous game of battleship. As such it is both easy to get lost, and easy to find your way.

      Pros

      In terms of inovation and being on the cutting edge Intel really can't be beat. We are still head and shoulders above most of our competitors when it comes to manufacturing. Our ability to move from one processor generation to the next within 3 years is always an amazing achievement.

      Cons

      We have moved away from most of the qualities that made this place a great place to work. We continue to work Engineers to the point of exhausion and rarely do we seem to be really appreciated. I don't believe our review process is a true representation of all we accomplish throughout the past year.
