Pros

I'm very impress by the senior management. Bright, hardworking, focused. And when they're wrong they say so and try something else. Can't say I've seen that anywhere else I've worked. It's refreshing and I think adds great value to the company. Salary and benefits are very good. And in my book, the #1 Pro... I'm in an environment where I learn something every day.

Cons

*Seeing that a course isn't working and resetting can wreak havoc on home life (hence the hefty compensation package). On the plus side, it's far better than mgmt with heads in the sand! *Too many meetings-I understand the whys but there's room for improvement.

Pros

Intuit is a fine place to work. I have interesting problems to solve on a daily basis and I am given the freedom to explore multiple ways of solving them. In this way, I feel that I am able to apply my creative and critical thinking talents regularly. Intuit is great about promoting work life balance. There are plenty of opportunities to unwind at work as well as typically generous vacation policies.

Cons

Upper management has struggled recently in establishing a clear vision for the company. There seems to be a re-org every 6 months with high level managers rotating in and out of business units way to frequently. Inter-team communication is a little weak. It can be hard to find other people and projects at intuit that may be relevant to your role.

Pros

Intuit is fair in the benefits it offers. Their pay is fair. They provide good medical, dental, and vision insurance. They have several other benefits, including 401k and matching contributions. I enjoyed the people I worked with. Intuit supports teamwork and does a lot to promote the team environment. Intuit has a set of operating 10 values that they adhere to. They also work to make Intuit a great place to work (Annual Great Place to Work Survey and then work to make improvements in areas that they did not score well on). They also provide nice office buildings and work environment.

Cons

Every so often Intuit will lay off a large group of their employees. It is understandable, but I feel that they had some other ways they could have handled it. Intuit is fair in its pay, but often expects a lot from their employees (high pressure deadlines and expectations). Some times assignments are made to individuals without providing the proper training, so as to help them be successful.
