Pros

Interesting businesses that really help people. Dedicated to training - Design4Delight, Lean StartIN, etc.. Decent work life balance and good benefits. Ability to move between business unit to acquire new skills and experiences. I learned a lot working here.

Cons

It takes a lot of selling to get a project done. Likely better than most big companies but still a challenge.

Pros

I love that Intuit has established and well-known values, and the company truly lives those values and holds its employees to those values. One of the values is "It's The People," and they believe that. But they don't loose sight of customers and shareholders. Brad Smith is a rock star of a CEO. I would follow him wherever he went. He's amazing, and he is the reason the company is growing and innovating.

Cons

Lots of reorganization Too much PowerPoint (but they're working on it!) Not enough honest dialogue....to much candy-coating

Pros

Intuit has a flat hierachy. Between CEO and the lowest level there is probably only 5 layers.

Cons

It is difficult to get promoted espectially to a level of Director. Typically you are where you are hired even after years on the job. Somehow outsiders are always attractive than promoting within for Director level and above.
