Pros

Challenging environment with lots of smart people.

Cons

The company has become more and more political in the past few years. They're just adding layers within the organization to keep the more vocal people happy.

Pros

Fantastic products. Very stable company. Great leadership. Great strategy and ability to execute on it. Made up of Probably the smartest people you will meet.

Cons

Good luck trying to move up in the company. Very political. Rewards onetime heroes over hard work. Beware of standard June RIFs.

Pros

Intuit is a really great place to work in terms of benefits, and the length that the company goes to give employees perks and other bonuses. The work-life balance is the best I've seen at a bay area company where the norm is to overwork employees.

Cons

Things tend to move really slow compared to other companies. Decisions always seem to pull in way to many people and everyone wants to voice their opinion, slowing things down. The enterprise security team is also ridiculously antagonistic, they treat employees as if they were all trying to hack/steal company information instead of working with them when they find some issue.
