Pros

Good benefits including medical, vision, dental, etc... A few great managers, if you can find them.

Cons

Many bad managers who exert high pressure, and use micro-management tactics. Managers have been doing 'performance exits', that are really hidden layoffs because the roles are not being backfilled. Yes a manager admitted it accidentally in a conversation. Stack ranking, even though the managers say there is none, although it slipped out during a conversation. Boise is not a growth site. Boise developers are on the interview panels for all the other sites, but no growth at the Boise site. Internal moves are being blocked and/or ignored for people at the Boise site, even though the corporate message is that Internal moves are for everyone.

Pros

Short term to get by it’s good with flexible time and work remotely.

Cons

No loyalty. Perform at the top with highest possible annual reviews and raises only to price yourself out of a job and get fired due to being highest paid in the role. They move you around a lot to different teams. Get on a team with a manger that doesn’t like you and they can make your life miserable and target you for termination without cause. They are able to lie to your face and not have to prove their claims or answer why their metrics are bogus. One manager on a power trip can get you terminated with no option to work anywhere in the company again. Loyalty is not rewarded. Smoke screens and lies is what you get. They are moving a large percent of their roles to India and roles are being eliminated. It was a traumatic experience to go from top ranked employer to not meeting expectations and terminated in a matter of 6 months with no valid explanation. Just lies. Their core values are just for image and not even attempted to be followed. I invested 3 years here and was an excellent employee only to be treated the opposite. Their actions do not match their words. Don’t trust a single thing they say nor a single person there.

Pros

Benefits, stock price, riding on AI wave

Cons

Toxic culture, Toxic leader, Fake CEO. Director and above leaders have no backbone, everyone running around like chicken with head cut to save their own jobs. CEO has inflicted a culture of fear and senior leaders have amplified that culture. Senior mgmt is old school and afraid of losing jobs
