Pros

Intuit is a good place for people who are seeking work life balance and doing just enough to get by. The total benefit package is competitive and salary is on par with the industry. A great place for a product manager. Strong market position with Mint, Quicken, Turbotax and QuickBooks.

Cons

Okay, let's be honest with ourselves here. If you are an engineer who is aggressive, wants to learn and grow to be a leader. THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR YOU. Engineers do not have a lot of influence in this company and the process of getting a product approved for development is very slow. The people are generally nice but are not excited to create revolutionary products. If you are a new college grad and looking to be promoted to be a senior engineer, that's pretty easy in this company. However, anything further than that is based on political game. Advise for college grads is to spend two years at Intuit, get the promotion and get the heck out. Engineers with a lot of ideas are usually cast aside in this company. Some lucky ones get to work in a few innovative groups scattered throughout the company. However, if you are really looking to change the world and make a difference, you should go to a startup. The recruiters will probably see you about growing to be a leader but as someone who has been there and done that, you are better of learning by doing in some other places. The leaders don't seem to understand technology driven innovation and is usually very slow in responding to market changes.

Pros

Salary, benefits, facilities (this tool asks for a minimum of 5 words, but I don't have 5 good words about intuit).

Cons

Want to work with people who are rude&dumb , then this is a place. I never seen a single satisfied employee when I worked there.
