Pros

-The pay and benefits are excellent -In some teams, there are a lot of good, smart, and kind people who care about what they do.

Cons

-Poor upper leadership: they don’t take any accountability and are incapable of steering the company in any meaningful direction -Ongoing effort to push out the bottom ~10% of staff each year has led to a culture marred by politics, dishonesty, and a focus on quantity over quality. Intuit no longer lives by its stated values -Poor work-life balance -Little faith in long-term health of the company The cons far outweigh the strong pay and benefits. Some realize this quicker than others. I lasted almost 3 years, but I’ve seen good people leave within 1.

Pros

Joining Intuit has been an incredible experience from day one. The onboarding program is one of the best I've encountered — well-structured, thoughtful, and genuinely makes you feel welcomed and set up for success. The benefits package is outstanding and speaks to how much the company invests in its employees' well-being. The environment at the Mountain View campus is amazing - there's always activities and events to join. They make it a place where you thrive, not just work.

Cons

As with any large organization, there's a significant learning curve. Intuit has a massive infrastructure and its own internal language and vocabulary that takes time to absorb. It's taken a month or two to get my bearings, but it's never felt overwhelming and I've never felt that I didn't have someone to connect with to figure it out.
