Pros

Good benefits & good work environment/facility.

Cons

This is purely from experience in IT. I hear great things from Intuit employees, except from those in IT. Company does not reward longevity across the board. Select individuals seem to be rewarded, but those that actually do the work are not, just used. Too many managers focused on managing their own advancement and not paying enough attention to the day to day. Too much concern overall on looking good and telling a good story as opposed to letting the work speak for itself. Too often people are moved around to positions they don't qualify for, setting up the company and the individual for failure. Senior management is typically only in your corner if you agree to whatever they say. They aren't interested in hearing anything else typically.

Pros

Campus is good. Fruits and food is free. Work life balance is okay. Encourage sports and other activities like charity. Cab facility.

Cons

Promotions and hikes are given based on politics and closeness to the manager . Upper management and HR ignore this partiality. Work has no innovation as they say pure maintenance projects. They claim they are in bangalore for talent and not for cost cutting. If you speak out management will target you in your performance review. Hikes are very less and no stocks or other benefits .It seems they were giving a lot of benefits some years ago to get a good brand. They keep closing teams without any long term plans. No growth if you stay .I know many people who moved from one team to the other aimlessly.

Pros

Benefits, pay, and culture can be great and inclusive. There is nothing more satisfying than being able to take a morning off and volunteer and get paid for it. The education benefits are generous. Generally, the culture supports internally motivated individuals. Engineers get 20% of their time to work on anything they want.

Cons

There is not a lot of internal training - different divisions have different cultures. You may know someone who has a great manager and job, but the job you have is a living hell. Watch out for internal politics - there are individuals who are outcome driven and will throw anyone under the bus who gets in the way of making their bonus.
