Pros

Intuit manages to hire great people and beat them down over time with lack of opportunity, too much work and too little compensation, but for a while you might have great coworkers. Benefits are good.

Cons

The company seems to be understaffed due to the long work hours and high expectations given to current employees, yet an employee has little or no room for growth or upward mobility. Customers are often given a confusing, if not impossible, route to get help or deal with problems, causing distress to any employee who feels that good customer service is a must. Great ideas for improvement are passed over constantly due to "lack of funding". The middle management does just enough to get by and tends put the blame for their failings on their staff. The employee is completely at the whim of a management team with no spine and no desire to pursue truth or justice within the company, therefore innocent people have been incorrectly blamed and fired with no recourse. There is no safe way to report any incidents that might be Human Resources issues, for these reports often lead to firing as well.

Pros

Good products, facilities. Capable people in US team.

Cons

No work life balance. Senior management team is full of political games. You can not work with peace of mind. Partiality is very visible in promotions and hikes. No career growth . Outdated technologies. No leadership vision.

Pros

- work life balance - enough time to manage your own side business - Pay is competitive

Cons

- attitude is we can buy talent when we need to , there is no reason/need to grow people within the company; you are hired and when the job is done discarded - only people that stay on do nothing other than snooze with mgmt - extremely passive aggressive culture - there is no accountability
