Pros

Corporate goals are in line with the company culture. People are honest, caring, driven, and have class. Everyone really cares about the customer experience - from leaders to new college-grads. You're also encouraged to be yourself, let your flag fly high - diversity (in all aspects), equity, and inclusion are taken seriously here. Internal mobility is also widely accepted and encouraged. Hiring manager think to look internally to fill roles, before looking externally. A focus on your personal health above work is prevalent - and expected. Taking time off to recharge or taking mental health days is also encouraged. You have an opportunity to work with a lot of big brand name products: TurboTax, QuickBooks, Mint, Credit Karma… and the people all have the same vibe!

Cons

It's a big company, so there are some of the typical big company issues. Some teams have micro-cultures that aren't always awesome, but you might be able to move out to a different team. Bureaucracy and socializing your work can sap you if you don't conserve your energy. Speed as a culture is constantly being broadcast, though, this can lead to teams doing duplicative work, since the company is big.

Pros

Good work/life balance and excellent benefits, true customer empathy. Good place for parents of small kids.

Cons

The illusion is quite convincing, but make no mistake. This is a big company and the paradigm applies. Intuit is better than most companies, but there is no escaping the few members of management who have become so adept at navigating the systems they slither unchecked. Enjoy your time at Intuit, but don’t trust anyone.

Pros

Job Security: you will not be board working for Intuit. Team Building: If Team building is your thing you will have many opportunities to do this.

Cons

Backstabbing: Many middle managers will say they care about you and your well being but if something happens to you (medical issues) and you performance drops a little they will backstab you, place you on a PIP that is not attainable, and even if you attain the goals they will still fire you. This place is the stereotypical big company, they say they care but when the time comes they will get rid of you even if the termination is questionable.
