Pros

Great benefits package, generous vacation time, great facilities, bright employees, good work-life balance

Cons

The products are just not that innovative, it's sometimes difficult to get excited about selling Turbotax or Quicken. The company moves slowly as you would expect with now 8000+ employees.

Pros

Good compensation, good benefits, good training and, great co-workers. I grew a lot in this position and learned a number of skills. I had a number of opportunities to participate in projects not related directly to my job but beneficial to the team.

Cons

It's stressful working with frustrated or angry customers whose only goal is to vent. This isn't so bad during off periods but during season you really need more of a break. There's also a tendency for a new project or process to be picked up and then discarded within months. It's still a large company and people are not always treated uniquely. Depending on your department, you could get dinged for unexpected absences (such as illness), even if you called in every time. They are, however, more generous than some companies in this regard.

Pros

Intuit is a great company to work for. There are many positive elements, benefits and compensation are great, there are opportunities available however you must seek them out.

Cons

Growth at Intuit is very dificult. There is not a formal mechanism which allows the employees to progress up the ranks at Inuit. Many initiatives have been started but they all die out and never make it past a year or two. Intuit changes direction regularly and to sustain anything, you must stick with it.
