Pros

Total compensation is very good Community involvement and "we care and give back" show genuine interest in community Effort to 'reinvent' itself could lead to interesting greenfield opportunities

Cons

Can take a long, long time to make a decision Effort to 'reinvent' itself is causing a lot of churn--there is a clear high-level vision, but management is having real trouble executing on the vision Many technical folks have a lot of catching up to do--desktop focus and writing everything from scratch is making it hard for many to come to terms with online innovation Processes around IT delivery (virtual containers, networking, computing capability in general) are so broken it takes a monumental effort to get new work done.

Pros

The compensation and benefit packages are the main reasons why I stay at Intuit.

Cons

When you see a company that boasts itself to the world that it's about the people, the customer and so forth and then to see all of the broken processes that no one is willing to fix to truly reflect this mindset, it is very discouraging.
