Pros

Because the company continues to be ambitious in its goals despite the numerous, seemingly unrealistic aspects of those goals. I prefer to be at place that continually tries to be better.

Cons

Yikes! The never ending disconnect between ambitions and reality. Our leaders seem to be continually clueless about how clueless they are when it comes to technology.. They set a goal of being like Apple and Google without looking at the profound differences between Intuit and those high-tech companies. They practically trivialize the accomplishments of Apple and Google in the process. Intuit has some GMs that need to be replaces (think small business). Then the PD leadership in the same area. If we haven't capitalized on the massive opportunity we've been sitting on for years then let's change *entirely* the folks making the decisions.

Pros

great people, great products. Promotes an innovated culture. Likes to grow within

Cons

matrixed organization with lots of overlapping departments and groups. Have changed and reorged several times looking for the right structure - could do with a bit of stability.

Pros

Great benefits-- lots of time off, stock options and shares, charitable giving matching, and tons of other benefits. There is generally plenty of room for advancement/ movement within the company. If you put in the effort to do a great job, you will be recognized (financial bonuses are handed out pretty generously) and the annual bonus can be 10-15% of your salary.

Cons

The company has lost focus in the past few years. Senior management is a revolving door, and the company has spread itself thin as it tries to diversify its offerings. Training is pretty light, but if you are self-motivated to learn and teach yourself, there's plenty to learn.
