Pros

A high say do ratio at a company that understands the value of customers and employess as they relate to producing shareholder value. A company that knows how to balance the short and long term. A company that cares about the communities it exists in and acts to give back. A company where you will run into lots of people who have been there for 10-15 years.

Cons

Too many silos. It can be hard to get cross-silo initiatives going. A lot of reliance on who you know.

Pros

Work-life balance isn't just a phrase thrown about at Intuit. For the most part, people work 40 hour weeks. The people are intelligent and really strive to solve real problems for customers.

Cons

Intuit has been successful for 25 years selling software at retail. Intuit is good at that, but that is not where the future is. Brad Smith talks about growth and opportunities but senior management has yet to take action on this so instead of exploring new business ideas, we are stuck maintaining the existing ones. Senior management needs to take risks and look at new business models in order to continue to prosper
