Pros

Great company that provides real value to the marketplace. Sasan is a great leader and I'm loving the culture here.

Cons

Although great, I'd would like to see us partner with other AI leaders outside of OpenAI.

Pros

Really nice and modern offices. I especially like the desk and meeting room booking system — it’s simple, works well, and removes a lot of everyday friction. A lot of internal processes are fully automated through the different self service portals, so you don’t have to constantly ping management, other teams to get things done. This makes day-to-day work much smoother. Integrated AI tools tightly connected to the codebase help you quickly understand where things are, how systems work, and how different components are connected. This makes onboarding and daily development much more efficient. For a company of this size, the level of bureaucracy is surprisingly low. Processes generally help development instead of slowing it down. The first month is focused on onboarding and learning: there are intro sessions that explain engineering practices, decision-making principles, and how teams are involved in shaping new features. I really like the focus on user perspective — teams actively try to think like users and give feedback on new ideas early, which leads to better product decisions. Good benefits package with good coverage (medical, dental, 401k, etc.). Friendly, collaborative environment and smart people who are easy to work with and happy to share context and knowledge.
