An ok place to work

Pros

Some roles and teams work on interesting things. There are plenty of little benefits and amenities: good 401k match, yearly 1300 "allowance" to spend on basically whatever you want, some campuses are nice.

Cons

Very political at the staff+ level. Too many managers. Senior leadership out of touch. Very short term thinking at the top level, always looking for quick wins to raise the stock price instead of building good products that excite our customers. However, we still have to pretend like we're building good products that excite our customers. PIP/DMNE quotas. Employees feel anxious and pressured in second half of the year, fearing layoffs.

Pros

- A lot of focus on AI and modern technologies. - Great people to work with - Great benefits. Real care for WLB and family life. - Access to all modern AI tools and models

Cons

- Getting things done usually involves a lot of stakeholders so it can get slow in comparison to smaller companies. - Hiring has really slowed down following the shift to AI and there's some noticeable pressure to perform using the tools we are given to compensate for the people who left the company.
