Too many politics and cover-ups

Pros

Good benefits hands down, stock options, education funding, and RRSP.

Cons

Too many politics, I have to agree with some of the poor reviews. They do a lot of social activities to try and hide the ugly with giving free food, drinks, and perks. I have seen top sellers let go because management failed to train them well and one bad call makes things go south. I have seen people let go for health issues/disabilities - sour and they pay big lawyers to hide the ugliness. Salaries are low too.

Pros

Good health and dental benefits Stock is growing Conveniently located

Cons

Frequent restructuring Constantly pivoting under the label of "innovation" and "innovation catalyst". 2-3 pivots a year is understandable but anything more signals lack of coherent strategy and guesswork on what works and what doesn't. Managers retaliate on getting low AES. I was shocked to see managers discussing who has given negative rating or who made negative comments about culture. Managers have fired employees just to increase their AES and look good in the eyes of others. "Do the best work of your lives" is just a namesake catchphrase, my way or highway culture is prevalent. Directors and above do not like any disagreements. Frequent firings to shore up BUC. Earning high salary can put you in firing line. I am waiting for stocks to vest to make a move Intuit is a great place if you want to just keep your mouth shut, live in a halo chamber and do as you are told without voicing your opinion. It can be very suffocating and humiliating but hey money helps
