Pros

Amazing investment in talent, if you go looking Open culture of feedback Lots of opportunity -- have an idea? Go for it! Culture of experimentation is coming -- scientific method and lean methodologies gaining strength and steam...

Cons

Lots of org. change -- hard to gain speed on career with org. changes so frequent Some org's are fairly political and that can be frustrating for some who don't like to play that game, this is pretty rare though Some processes are too heavy and get in the way; for those who don't find this difficult to navigate, this can be very frustrating

Pros

Intuit is a Market leader which is innovative and progressive with a focus on process rigor. This company has tremendous values and a casual, comfortable culture. Intuit practices what it preaches in how it keeps up with updated technology and is adamant about keeping the pace with the global market place.

Cons

There is a history of excessive change and reorganizations which often leads to a decrease in effective, long-term outcomes. As is the pattern with other similar technology firms, Intuit is engaged in moving a large portion of their call center functions to outsourcers, which is reducing jobs available within the US.

Pros

- Co-worker and management support for professional development. If you want to take classes, read books, have meetings with other groups or managers they are super supportive. They really do encourage job transfers within the company when you want to try something new. - Shared learnings are huge right now with lots of opportunities to share and learn "learn-teach-learn" they call it. - Telecommute policy, many people work from home at least one day a week and schedules seem pretty flexible in general - Annual bonus is a fun addition to your paychecks - Overall benefits seem very good compared to other companies I've worked for in the Silicon Valley

Cons

- Certain products have peak periods of work where you can be putting in crazy hours for a couple months - There are certain Intuit only methodologies which if you don't buy into you may have a difficult time fitting in the the culture (Big Y, True North)
