Pros

1) One of the top compensations in the market. 2) Stock grants with every hike. 3) Employee stock purchase plan with guaranteed returns. 4) Good benefits; fitness reimbursements, free food, Internet fee reimbursements, free cab, NPS contributions(Employer contribution outside of CTC). 5) Flexible work environment. 6) Good work life balance. 7) Hard/Smart work is recognized with Spotlight awards.

Cons

1) Some of teams in India work on legacy products. So most of the work in these teams is not interesting. There is not much learning if you work in such teams. These legacy products bring in a lot of money to the company. So people do get paid well. Ultimately, it comes down making choice between quality of work and salary when it comes these teams. 2) Too many people managers - one manager for 6-8 engineers; a technology company doesn't really require so many people managers.

Pros

Intuit really cares and invests a lot for its employees - 1. Work life balance is encouraged. 2. Lot of resources/opportunities to learn and grow - msdn subscription, pluralsight, 10% unstructured time to pursue one's own tech interests, not confined to one technology or team, internal mobility options. 3. Friendly colleagues, seniors always help junior engineers to grow, mentoring is a key goal as you grow up the ladder. 4. Diversity is given lot of importance - through employe networks, communities, management encourages women in tech.

Cons

Bosses don't shy away from taking hard decisions for the good of the company, due to which org changes are frequent.
