Pros

Good pay and profit sharing

Cons

Green card category is EB3 even if you are a senior software engineer with a master's degree and 5 + years of experience. Promotions take forever at all levels, as there's a lot of politics.

Pros

- Great work/life balance - Recent resurgence in internal entrepreneurship - Reasonably competitive stock options, benefits, etc - nice offices, good equipment - standard perks - whitespace time

Cons

- Pretty generic software development challenges - financial services markets are just not sexy - bureaucracy - constant re-orgs - never challenged, even when you seek it out - enterprise architects. Everywhere.
