Pros

Helpful management, approachable manager. Management listens to employee concerns. Clear defined tasks, but open to suggestions. Very high use of AI tools. Good standard of trainings, many are conducted by external trainers. Hybrid office (2 days WFH) Manageable work stress. Can maintain work life balance. Office food and different perks. Good health insurance.

Cons

Strict 3 days work from office sometimes becomes bit difficult. Office cab facilities available only at fix hours. There could have been office support/perks for house renting, maybe interest free deposit, or similar.

Pros

Good conditions, multiple projects to work on and opportunities, good vision and contributions with open source projects like Argo. People are helpful with each others.

Cons

Can be hard to accomplish impactful things without knowing key individuals. Some important project never gets prioritized because the right person to talk to doesn't seem to exist.

Bad leadership

Business Outlook

Pros

- Good Pay - Streamlined processes & paved path for service onboarding.

Cons

- The leadership is not technically competent, doesn't know how to manage people, creating a bad culture which flows down. - Managers have all the ownership, they are still acting like team leads and don't pass down any ownership to Staff Engineers. - People who are old at Intuit are comfortable and don't want to fix the problems with the system. They have tribal knowledge and they don't share. The system is complicated to understand and the learning curve is steep.
