      Pros

      Made some great friends during my time at Sciquest. I do think having a unified platform will help but the pace of innovation on table stakes capabilities is so far behind the competition that it will be difficult to catch up. Stripping away basic capabilities from each of the acquired products in order to get a unified platform has put them in a no-win situation

      Cons

      If you are considering a career here please benchmark the reviews with other companies. The difference is how extreme the reviews are on both sides. I agree with previous comments telling people to move on but something must really be wrong here. I've personally witnessed 20+ people leaving Sciquest in the last 10-months and that is only the people that reach out to me. I think there is a correlation between a mass exodus and the ultra positive reviews trying to backfill those positions. I encourage you to reach out to former employees to get the real scoop.

      Pros

      Some of the best features are the engaging and smart coworkers, relaxed atmosphere, obvious commitment from management to improve, and overall compensation package. Most people are really upbeat and glad to be here. The work is fast paced and challenging. There's plenty of room for growth within the company if you assert yourself.

      Cons

      Some people take "relaxed" a little too far which can get in the way of work. Headphones are important. The negativity here by a few disgruntled folks is known and a bit of a downer, which leads to minor gripes sometimes getting blown out of proportion.

      It's marginally better than not having a job at all

      Cons

      Lack of leadership, micromanagement, rampant paranoia. Sciquest continues to get rid of good managers and promote the laziest engineers to management.
