Pros

Looks good on CV. Overall as one of the Big 4 it helps open doors in industries. You can make good networks.

Cons

Choosing to work in KPMG is a downside. Everything is a big fat lie. The whole work like policy is a joke. Internal politicking is rife. Managers are ignorant buffoons who do not even know their heads from their behinds. Partners are worse. you have to fight for projects. Managers form their own dog groups and its hard to get out of a group and get projects. Internal transfers, assignments and rotations are hard to get by. All the stuff that is said in the HR presentations is just gimmick. The salary package is the worst. The lowest paid of all the big 4 and they try to compensate by showing the great added benefits. Pros

25 days of vacation. nice office. nothing much to say. The annual salary raise is well below inflation rate and, not too mention, the rental raise in New York City.

Cons

KPMG has too much politics. There is lack of learning opportunity. Salary is not competitive. The work is long hour. The morale is low except for the new-comers. The staff people are taken seriously about quality of work but totally lack of recognition. The management does not have any respect. they have very poor time management. If they have problem, they will blame it down to the staff. If they have credit, they take them all by themselves. Staff people feel like working hard for nothing because all credits has been taken by management level. People who gets promotion are people who play game with the management, but not the people who do the hard work. Ethics is bad in office. therefore KPMG has such a high employee turnover rate. The annual salary raise is well below inflation rate and, not too mention, the rental raise in New York City.

Pros

Salary, Summer and Winter Shutdown

Cons

I felt unsupported and mistreated during my time at the company. I often experienced behavior from leadership that felt manipulative and demeaning, which took a toll on my mental health. There was a clear power imbalance that was exploited at times. I was given excessive workloads without proper support, which made me feel taken advantage of.
