Pros

Met some good friends along the way due to the nature of work that makes you see your colleagues more than your own family

Cons

Egoistic senior management who do not want to listen to the opinions of staff. Yes they do have breakfast session, on the account of having an open ground for feedback and people to voice their concerns. But most of the time these sessions result in nothing except for them trying to brainwash the staff that it’s ok to work overtime and there’s nothing they can do about it. Particular senior manager who thinks she is the best and does not have respect for others. Calls you during your vacation or sick leave, asking for you to do work. Shouts at you and humiliated you in front of the whole department with her shrill voice just because she does not understand something. She does not take into consideration the opinion of others and always feels she is right. So when you do things differently or work performed is not documented in the way she likes, you’ll be in deep deep trouble. She is also extremely bias, and only backs people she likes for promotion, for the rest of the staff if she doesn’t like you. She will never acknowledge the areas you have done well but focuses on your faults.

Pros

The only pro is the experience if you can bear the misery

Cons

Terrible Company Culture, team I worked with from the partner down was completely miserable making the audit unbearable. Managers only focus on large clients, don't care about smaller audits. Managers were very unhelpful and always left at 5 during busy season.

Pros

Smart people, good benefits, competitive salary

Cons

With KPMG being on the Forbes list for best places to work, makes me question the entire list. People show up to play a political game, not to work. Results come 3rd to favoritism and politics. Have values and integrity? This isn’t the place for you. The unethical practices are scary. The length of stay is enough for a promotion. Knowledge is nothing.
