Pros

Nothing at all to tell. Avoid please

Cons

1. Team lead ask to work extra 2-3hrs daily to meet unachievable targets KPIs. Whole team stay back without pay or OT. 2. FORCE TO WORK ON WEEKEND WITHOUT PAY TO COVER KPIS. OTHERWISE WARNS YOU WILL BE ON REVIEW AND TERMINATED. But no pay. 3. They don't prefer ladies with kids because they can't force to work extra hours. So encourage resignation. 4. So stressful TLs and negatively impact mental well-being because of their pressure. 5. Ask to do office training after work for hours without pay

Great place to start your career

Pros

As a very young professional, I was given insight into various companies' operations that many people do not get exposure to. I was constantly learning, and never felt like I had time to master any one thing. This job set me up for success at my next job, and what I learned these first four years of my career, I know I'll take those lessons to all future employers. Overall, the exposure you get at KPMG is second to none. Also, I enjoyed most everyone I worked with. There were a lot of like-minded people at the firm. I was given a lot of praise, which felt good.

Cons

The pay. It is just so far below market that its hard to justify. I don't mind grinding at work, but I would like to have been compensated for it (other than in "learning opportunities".

Pros

You will get exposed to various companies and industries through the course of various engagements that you will take on. This builds a good foundation, that allows you to diversify your industry options later on.

Cons

Good work is rewarded with more work. And not forgetting the ungodly hours that you are covertly expected to work, beyond the façade of working to improve work-life balance. E.g., when I left, I was working close to 100 hours per week.
