      Pros

      Resume builder, fast-paced, exposure to a lot of areas if you’re lucky

      Cons

      Ridiculous hours (I was assigned minimum 80 hour weeks which translates to ~90-100 hours for 8 months straight). You are assigned a mentor who is supposed to advocate for you, which is a complete 50/50 chance on whether that will be the case. I felt undervalued and miserable. Low pay for what they expect of you.

      Pros

      Workplace freedom: - Usually, you are able to work at your own pace and timing, so long as you complete the work before the deadline. Unless you get superiors who micro-manages but that's quite rare. - Freedom doesn't mean you get to choose the clients you get but more of how you can dictate what you will be doing each day as the tasks will be allocated to you as a list for you to decide which one is more urgent. Helps to build your task management skills and also time management skills. - Work-Life balance is how you see it, and how you manage your time so it's actually a good place to learn how to start on it. Friendly colleagues: - Colleagues from the same batch are usually very friendly since everyone is going through the same grind together

      Cons

      No transparency: - (this is in light of COVID-19) There isn't much transparency in management's decision with regards to promotion/increment/bonuses and even after several townhalls along with anonymous complains on the intranet, the situation only got worse instead with more ambiguous messages coming from management. - We look great on the outside but frankly speaking we are rotting big-time internally. Especially with the staff feeling detached from management and also opposing views on how higher management is treating staff.
