      Risk consulting firm, not strategy or management; white male dominated at every level, especially leadership

      Pros

      The company does have very decent benefits. They also give some modest but nice gifts - e.g., a welcome gift for new hires and an annual summer gift of food (Omaha Steaks meat or ice cream bars). They also shut down for about 10 days at the end of the year, which is great!

      Cons

      VERY white male. Very poor treatment and promotion of women. Not welcoming of minorities. No innovation whatsoever. No true desire or ability to move away from risk in favor of strategy or management consulting.

      Workplace bullying alive and well at KPMG

      Pros

      Colleagues are top-notch. The projects are interesting and clients are great to work with. You learn a lot in a short amount of time.

      Cons

      Ideas are ignored, then introduced by a more senior team member weeks later as a "great idea" and then implemented. Credit and praise are non-existent.
